Center for Creative Expression

We
are in the midst of the final year of creative expression classes
offered by the Orange Show for people with traumatic brain injury.
This is five-year pilot project presented in conjunction with
The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR), the National
Institutes of Health and Baylor College of Medicine, provides
an opening for these individuals to become part of their community
again through the creative process. To sign up for these free

THIS!!!

The
Mural Arts Project (MAP) is a new name to communicate all of
the diverse community arts projects we've initiated, instructed
and inspired since 1996. MAP includes our activities in community
dialogues, graffiti abatement efforts, gang prevention activities,
restoration, initiation, documentation and promotion of murals
and other public art projects that make a city wide impact one
neighborhood at a time!
The
mural above is the work of students at Austin High School under
the direction of Jesse Sifuentes.
Funding for this mural generously provided by the National
Endowment for the Arts, United Way and Texas Commision for the
Arts.
