A place for rest and reflection, the Marilyn Oshman Meditation Wall is a unique space in Smither Park because it is designed to be devoid of all color. While the majority of Smither Park is a smattering of the entire color spectrum, the Meditation Wall is stark white, encouraging visitors to stop and take in the beautiful details of the mosaic. Designed by a group of artists off-site on large panels then installed in its current location, the mediation wall is a collection of used and broken bath tiles, dishes, towel holders, cups and saucers, and many other commonly used items - making it a fascinating exploration into what can be done with the everyday object.
